Very soon, in less than three weeks, my life will be changing for good. I am leaving home (and far away too), starting English Creative Writing at University, and finally able to fulfil my promise to my girlfriend, best friend, mentor and true love Vicky. She promised herself she would never have another long distance relationship again and even though I could not do anything about it at the time I tried my best...and this is all I can do.

I am so very excited, and of course scared, but I am through with living by the boundaries of pure selfishness and restricting reason. I made a vow to myself to go beyond what I am capable of, to reach out and make sure the one I care about more than ANYTHING in the world wouldn't have to feel lonely or afraid again. I can't do much, being the insignificant boy I am, but until I try I'll never know.

Two and a half weeks and it all changes...

And I have never, ever been happier.
